Healing Meditations - Guided Visualisations
NOTE: MEDITATION MAY NOT BE HEALTHY OR HELPFUL FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS - PLEASE READ THE MEDITATIONS PAGE BEFORE COMMENCING ANY FORM OF MEDITATION.
How does it work?
Guided visualization meditations work well for people especially when they have recently been introduced to meditation and they find it "hard to focus". My understanding is that the best results for healing come when a person is meditating to the sound of their own voice, and many years ago I pre recorded all of my healing meditations and spent some time each night doing them. I would tend to focus on an issue that I was aware was current in my life a the time. The important thing if you choose to prerecord, is that each of these meditations should take about 15-20 minutes, so when you do the recording - try it first for length, and then keep recording it.. you need to have many ... (pauses) in there to allow your mind and body to drift and wander and to show you what lies in your subconscious before you move onto the next sentence. For example, if a meditation says "you are walking down a road, and to the right of you is rows and rows of flowers.............. (in your minds eye you look to the right of you and see the flowers), then the meditation would say something along the lines of ."notice the flowers.. what colour are they? ........ " and your mind automatically pulls up a picture of a flower of a certain colour or shape and these provide clues to our subconscious for consideration after ward. While you are meditating - don't do any straining, or pushing.. just allow it to happen naturally. AFTER the meditation, then perhaps sit down with a pen and reflect on what your subconscious has shown you. For instance the colours have meaning as do the types of flowers, and whether the flowers have thorns.
The other benefit of guided meditation is that, it offers a capacity to meditate and focus without any strain at all. If your mind wanders off in the middle of it (as they do), and you start thinking "what about? what if" or as it is said, the "mind chatter" starts, instead of being thrown off, you just gently pull your mind back to the story being spoken. You may have had mind chatter through a particular part of the guided journey but when you realise you have started to chatter and drift away from the meditation - don't get cross with yourself, just be aware and gently pick up the "story" where it is currently at and then continue with the flow of the meditation. The more you do it - the easier it gets.

Creating the Ambience
As with any guided meditation, it helps to ensure that all distractions such as phone are turned off and that you are in a quiet space, where you an allow yourself to "be". Guided meditations are good for people that strain to meditate under normal circumstances. You might be more comfortable if you light a tealight candle, or burn some essential oils or incense to help with the "ambience" and to generate feelings of safety and peace. You may want to play some relaxation or uplifting music, or hold onto a favourite crystal as you do the meditation. You will also want to ensure that you will be comfortable during the meditation, so make sure you have cushions or a comfortable chair. IF you choose to lie down - be aware that you may fall asleep during the process, however, you can invoke before starting the meditation that should you fall asleep during the process that the meditation registers onto your subconscious and you still receive the benefits of it.
About:
Balancing the Masculine & Femine
This meditation is to balance the opposing polarities of your auric body, and also emotional/mental polarities. If we consider masculine energy to be that of the provide /protect, and the feminine to be nourish/nurture, and that each one of us carries these aspects within us, regardless of our gender, then to be fully stable and balanced on all levels then these internal elements of masculine and feminine also need to be balanced. This meditation takes you through the process symbolically of a "marriage" of the energies, it is the integration of all these qualities in our life to feel more whole and complete, and less dependent and more empowered.
Connect with your Guardian
This meditation/guided visualisation technique assists you to make personal contact with your Guardian Angel. The key here is to not strain, do not try to force. Once the connection has been made -there will be NO doubt whatsoever. You won't think you made contact -you will KNOW.
Inner Sanctuary
This meditative technique is recommended for the FIRST HEALING MEDITATION. By creating the inner sanctuary or "sacred space" you offer yourself an opportunity to feel safe with any further meditations. If you feel uncomfortable during any of the other "growth phases" your own inner compass will return you to the sanctuary -or to your conscious state of awareness. It also provides great insight into our core values at a subconsious level and how we feel about ourself. (eg our levels of self care and love).
Mini Me
The purpose of this meditation is to not only relax and help you to focus on peacefulness, but also to upon completion feel restored and healthy and well, regenerated, revived, energised and Light at all levels. A full body restorative meditation.
Rainbow Healing
This particular meditation offers some very deep healing with a chakra balance through colour and also through the "burning away of anything less than love". Offers an opportunity to connect with our deepest sense of guidance, and "Divinity".
Reclaim Your Past Life
Past life meditations are good for if we have inexplicable fears and phobias which have no apparent trigger in the current life time "an unearthly fear of heights for example" where there is no obviousl reason for the fear/phobia. The root of it may lie in past life. By doing this meditaiton you may be able to reclaim the "root cause" and release it as no longer relevant in this life time and in effect, cure yourself of the "fear". I have used it myself to over come an inexplicable fear of blood in this life time.
Tara
This meditation will assist with the process of creating and maintaining healthy boundaries on all aspects of our Mind/Body/Spirit. Excellent for when we feel people are taking advantage of our good nature and even "overstepping the line" with our moral compass. Also assists us to be abel to recognise other peoples boundaries and their own "lines in the sand".
Violet Flame of Transmutation
This meditation will assist you to transmute your fears and anything less than love into strengths and heightened awareness of yourself and others. It has a profound positive psychological impact on most people however as with any meditation, if you have a diagnosed mental health condition you may want to discuss with a professional if the meditation technique will be useful or harmful for you.
White Rose
This meditative technique helps to purify your auric being and your intent. It will also align your will within "Divine Will". Purity of intent ensures that we act from the "space of the heart" in a manner that is for the highest good of ALL or for the best possible outcome. It is a merging of aspects of self and expansion of awareness and understanding of life at a deep core level.
