Ruling and Day Numbers

Establishing the Ruling Number is the first step in creating any Numerology Report because it has the strongest influence on a person's life path and character. The Ruling number is the sum of all the numbers in your birthday combined and reduced to a singular digit. Most people will say that their birth number (if they know it) is singular; however, the method by which the number is calculated influences the life path and the report. For instance, a person with a birth date of January 6, 1985, might believe that their ruling number is that of the 3 because when they add the numbers together, 6+1+1+9+8+5 = 30/3. While this would be correct, all numbers carry individual traits and influences upon the character of a person, and there are multiple ways to conclude the ruling number as being 3. For instance, birthdates can add up to 39 (which is reduced down to 12 and becomes a 12/3), or the number of 48 (which becomes a 12/3) and so forth. Therefore, the Ruling Number 3, as a primary digit, shares lessons and attributes; an accurate report will accommodate the differences in the pathways to the conclusion.

The secondary and most influential number on a person is their day of birth. The day a person is born is referred to as the "Day Number', and is reduced to a singular digit as with the Ruling Number. For instance - a person born on the 26th of a month will have a day number of 8. It represents the 'other side' of a person, their subconscious and often hidden inner desires, and it tends to reveal itself as the 'innermost desires'. it offers explanations for a person's behaviour and dreams, as well as inherent gifts, but is not intended to be the primary path.
